How do you Download Acrobat DC Standard??
Every time I reimage a computer I must struggle finding my subscription downloads. I've searched this forum as well as search engines. They are either out of date or they don't tell you where to Download your software. Take, for example, the Adobe sticky post "How to download, install, and active Adobe application." The first section is "Download links for perpetual products". After it being unclear if a subscription is a perpetual product, and you click the Acrobat links (im looking for standard DC), you come to the ESD Retail link. Following that you come to another help article "Find downloaded apps and files". Following more help article you then go to your Adobe ID account and follow unintuative steps; ie) going further into your order history and order id. I have done this. Under my order and under 'Items' there is an entry for my purchase. However, unlike the statement in the Help article there is no download link. The next logical step is to click on "My products" on the left. There is not a link or download for my subscription software. So you check 'My plan'. I again see my subscription software. When checking 'Manage Plan' I'm taken to a page to cancel or change plan. Now, the site design makes the idea of scrolling down a little obfuscated. So be it. So after realizing that and scrolling down there is a Download button for my subscription software; (please not that the download link is not under my invoices or order number as stated in the Help forum sticky topic. So, clicking download my product doesn't download. I'm then linked to a 'Document Cloud' web application. Now, in this web page, perhaps its me who doesn't think that the 'Apps' side menu is a place to download desktop software, but after cycling through My Account and the countless unintuative and elusive location for a software download, there you find desktop apps and my subscription download. So, perhaps its me, but I honestly feel that when I log into my Adobe ID account there should be a quick way to get my software. Perhaps if my software was located in 'Mange Plan' or in 'Common Tasks/ "Download Apps" (which takes me to a web page with Desktop apps that I don't ever remember using. Would Adobe be able to check if other accounts have their subscription under common tasks/download apps, then I would know that my account is just improperly configured. Regardless I would suggest updating the help articles or making section for your software downloads within your Adobe account profile.
In the spirit of expediency I'd like to summarize an alternate way to obtain your software:
Login In>manage plan>download>apps section in the following webpage.
