How do you open the file location of an opened PDF in a Finder Folder?

Hello,

I used to be able to right click on the top window of an open PDF file and open the file location in a Finder window. My OSX is MAcOS Catalina Version 10.15.1 Since I've updated my Adobe Acrobat DC to the latest version, this feature/way of opening the file location is no longer available. I am however, able to open the file location by going to File> Properties > Description > and click on the file address. Is there a setting/option to do this same action without the extra steps above?

Hi there,

We are sorry for the delayed response, would you mind sharing more information about the issue you are facing.

Please try to install the application is a new user test profile with full admin rights or enable the root account and check if the option is available there.

Also, could you please share the log file for further investigation. To collect the logs please use the steps here (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html)

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Hi,

It is my understanding that some windowing features may or may not be displayed  or handled in the same way accross all of your different application running on top of the new macOS.

There is a tendency for some applications to open in Full Screen Mode versus Normal Display mode, for example.

If that is the case, the  File Menu toolbar of the active window will appear like if it was hidden .

To See if that is your  case try to switch from full screen mode to normal display mode by following the following tips:
