Question

How does a PDF file behave in a foreign country (different language)

Hello everyone,

I am preparing an English version of my PDF file, and I am a little concerned about

some of its features will behave, once the file is open in a foreign version of Adobe Reader.

Of course, I understand that the wording of the mesages has to be translated but take for

instance a Radio Button:

Do I have to change the choices in each group to "Choice1", "Choice2", Choice3, etc.

or can I leave them in my local language?

Thanks a lot for you help!!

If you mean, will there be any automatic translation? No there will not.

So, it means that I don´t (for instance) have to change the sub-items in a Radio Button Group into English words ("Choice1", "Choice2", etc.)

I can leave them as they are, in my local language, since the coding refers to the local language, not English.

OK then!

Thanks a lot

Does you mean the form fields?

Yeah, more specifically I am concerned about what´s inside the Radio Buttons, like the "Choices", as I mentioned.

Does you mean the tooltips or export values?
