Question

How has your organization reduced paper-based processes using Adobe Acrobat?

Organizations are delivering paperless process by replacing them with digital document workflows to streamline efficiency, collaboration, and innovation.

As Adobe mentioned, there are many examples of businesses using Acrobat and Acrobat Sign to make approvals easier, printing reduced or documents more accessible.

At Maxen Power, we're involved in the commercial energy sector and we've realised how digitally converting PDFs makes recording operating data easier.

It would be great to hear how other organizations succeeded in that transition.

What are the most impactful features of Acrobat you used?

What were the biggest challenges you faced when implementing?

Did you learn any lessons that you'd want to recommend?

@TiborKocs I used to print my course notes for my students, and literally as one student said on my Linkedin recommndation, “He also designed his own student handbook that I still use today”—this was from 2019! Honestly, I would spend hours printing almost 300 pages for my students. It was used, but then I got lazy, and told them to use the PDF instead once we got secondary monitors in the labs. One screen for th work, the second screen for your tools, panels, and a PDF. It would be much easier to do a ‘Find’ versus flipping a hard copy. Not only did I reduce reams of paper for print-outs, but as well, elctricilty, ink and most importantly time and effort, as I would hole-punch and give them a binder to hold it all in (which the binder was on my dime too!!)

It took awhile for the students to ge the hang on if. It meant, no more excuses of forgetting the binder, now that the PDF was easily accessible from our learning portal
