Question

How many files can I send for commenting on the free plan of Adobe Acrobat Reader

I've been reffered here by Kashyap who was unable to assist me. I'm on the FREE plan of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I use this on a seperate account (account A) for sending files for commenting to clients. I received a notification whilst trying to send a file for commenting "You have reached your limit of free file send. Upgrade to send more files, including sending files for commenting."

I do not wish to upgrade at this stage. I want to know WHAT IS MY LIMIT FOR FREE FILE SENDING for commenting on a FREE account of Adobe Acrobat Reader?

I'm on a seperate account (account B) where I pay for Adobe Cloud but do not wish to send files for commenting via this account (account B). I want to remain on the free account (account A) of Adobe Acrobat Reader for sending files to clients for commenting.

Thanks in advance!

What do you click in Acrobat Reader to trigger the send? There seem to be different ways to do this, and I don't see "Send for Review" anywhere in Reader.

From Adobe Acrobat (online) I click the Share dropdown button within the top bar. I then click on 'Send For Comments' and follow the steps from there on onwards. I've never had an issue with sending this way. In fact I was adviced to send from the online platform by an Adobe cosultant.

Thanks. I see - not Acrobat Reader but Acrobat online. I found info, but it was unhelpful...

How many times can I use the free tools?
.. If you sign in with an Adobe ID, you can fill, sign, SHARE, and add comments to files for free.

... You can complete two Request Signatures transactions every 30 days on a rolling basis.

So, unless you are asking for a signature, you've hit some sort of undocumented limit. Can I ask what sort of volume you're trying? Hundreds a day?
