I am trying to insert a DATE field, ideally in the header or footer of the PDF that will always show the current date when the file is opened. Basically looking for a way to have a date displayed on the print or a PDF that would indicate the date the document was printed

Thanks Shivam, I did see the dynamic field option in previous posts, and I agree that it works, however, I was hoping to find a solution that would be available in the header/footer that would then be displayed on all pages, or some method that would be applied to all pages in a document.

You can duplicate the field across pages.
