how to add an initial field when creating a PDF form in adobe pro 2024

how do I add an initial field when creating a PDF form in adobe pro 2024-it's easy to add a signature field, but I need to request intials.

Any other answers I've found online are for DC Pro which I do not have, or an older version and the directions are not the same.
