How to adjust the highlight setting in Adobe Acrobat?

Hi everyone,  I found after recent update, the highlight setting was changed automatically. It only show the circle now around the text. But in before it can highlight the whole area. Anyone knows how I can adjust it to original settings?

    Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

    Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

     

    Also if its a scanned pdf file, try to run the OCR on the document and see if that works https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/edit-scanned-pdfs.html

    Hi, it happens with every pdf, not scaned file. I already solved this problem by disabling the new version Adobe. Now I am basically using the version before updated. I think my problem got solved and strongly suggest any further software update is not necessary to most user like me. Thank you very much for the reply.
