How to brand the file name and restart the bates stamp at 1 for each document?

I need to brand exhibits for court. I need to use the file name which is the exhibit number (for example 1234.pdf) and then add a four digit page number after on the branded page of the document and some text. TX1234-0001 for page 1, TX1234-0002 for page 2, etc. etc. When I get to the next exhibit TX1235 - I need to start the page numbering at 1 again. TX1235-0001, TX1235-0002, TX1235-0003, etc. etc.

Can I do this in Acrobat? I need to use the file name, add a prefix and a suffix. TX (prefix) (filename) and suffix -0001

Hello Shannonb,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. You can add bate numbers and the prefix/suffix in a PDF, however, the customization you mentioned is not possible in Acrobat.

For detailed information, you can refer to the Adobe articles and discussions Add headers, footers, and Bates numbering to PDFs, Adobe Acrobat

Has any development taken place with this request.  I can't believe this is not a feature.  Every court demands a similar stamping/naming convention that Shannon describes here.
