How to Compare Large Files

I work for the computer processor maker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).  I often have to compare two PDF files to show the changes between the two documents. Even files as small as 2 MB fail to complete, even after choosing the "compare text only"  feature.  What is the upper limit of file size or page number when comparing two PDF files. Is the failure the fault of my computer? How much computing power do I need?  If Adobe Acrobat cannot perform this function, do you have any recommendations on how I can compare two large PDF files to identify differences?

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. 

Would you please let us know the version of Acrobat you are using to compare the files? Is it Acrobat DC or Acrobat XI?

There is no such limit for the page files or size of the file which could limit this functionality. The process might take a while but it should be working fine.

Hi Tariq,

Thanks for your response. I am using Adobe Acrobat Xl, version 11.0.19. Unfortunately, I'm unable to share the files with you as to not violate AMD proprietary information or Intellectual Property policies. I see that through this interface I'm unable to attach two screenshots of a dialogs that appear. One says the app will be "unresponsive" when I compare two documents that are just over 500 pages.  The other dialog says the "operation is incomplete" when comparing two documents that are 211 pages. Neither of these responses are acceptable.  If there's a way to share these two jpegs, please let me know.
