How to convert an old Outlook data file to Adobe PDF file?

Hi everyone,

I have an old Outlook data file with a lot of emails in it. I want to convert those Outlook file data to Adobe PDF, but Outlook is not installed on my system.

Can I convert this file to Adobe PDF directly with Acrobat Pro? If not, what is the easiest way to do it? It would be great if the attachments were saved along with the emails.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Short answer: no — Acrobat Pro can't open or convert an Outlook data file (.pst) on its own. The email-to-PDF tools only work from inside Outlook, so Outlook needs to be installed first.

    Easiest way:

    1. Install the Outlook desktop app and open your data file there (File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File).

    2. Select the messages or the whole folder you want to save.

    3. Use the Acrobat option in Outlook to convert the selected messages to PDF.

Attachments are kept together with their emails in the resulting PDF, so there's nothing extra to do for those.

You cannot directly convert PST files to PDF via Adobe - But Micsoft Outlook is helful got this
You can import PST in Outlook - if you have an approprite account and save each email as PDF one by one for free. For this there are dedicated thrid party tools also avaiavle like BitReocver PST to PDF Converter - which is offline, secure and easy to use with large PST even without Outlook and retaining all the email data.
