How to Convert OST Files to PDF Format?

You can convert OST files to PDF format using Microsoft Outlook or a dedicated OST converter tool.

Manual method:

1. Open Microsoft Outlook and access the mailbox linked to the OST file.
2. Open the email you want to convert.
3. Select File > Print.
4. Choose Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer.
5. Click Print and save the email as a PDF file.

This method works well for a few emails, but converting many emails one by one can take a lot of time. Also, if the OST file is orphaned or the original Outlook account is unavailable, you may not be able to open it in Outlook.

For bulk conversion, you can use a dedicated tool such as Advik OST to PDF Converter to export OST emails to PDF format. Check the supported export options and free trial limitations before converting your complete mailbox.

Please note: You can’t convert an .OST file directly to PDF with Acrobat. OST is an Outlook data cache, not a document. The reliable, supported path is: open the mailbox in Outlook (Classic desktop), then use Acrobat PDFMaker for Outlook to convert the needed emails (and attachments) to PDF—either as individual PDFs or a single PDF (or PDF Portfolio).
