Hi davidi27321830 ,

Sorry for the issue you are facing. This might be the issue with the file. Because there are multiple things which effects text to be recognized. Can you please share following detail to help us identify the issue:

- Acrobat version

- OS Detail

- 1 Sample file(You can use https://cloud.acrobat.com/send to share the file)

Also please try to export it to non-excel file once. It will recognize similar content.

Thanks,

Lovekesh Garg

Hi Lovekesh,

Thanks for helping me out.

I am using Acrobat 2015 version.

My Mac is OS x El Capitan version 10.11.16

Unfortunately I can't share a sample document because it is dealing with

client remittance advices. Basically it is just a document with a couple of

columns. For example, one column is a list of order numbers, the next

column is dates, the next column is the amount paid, etc. Normally we only

need the information from the order number so to try to help Adobe, I crop

the column I need.

Additionally I use a Brother DSmobile 620 scanner, could that be the issue

as well?

Best,

David

It should not be related to scanner.

Can you please try 1 thing:

- Open file and Go to tools> Enhance scans> Recognize Text> In this file

- Select settings and in Output style select Searchable Image Exact (also try with "Editable Text and Images" once)

- Click Recognize Text

Now try to copy the text which was not recognized earlier while Export.

Also share 1 thing, is their any difference between 2 columns(like Font, color, table)

Thanks.
