How to Create a Fillable Barcoded PDF Form?

Hi, 

 

I have created a barcoded fillable form in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro; however, this is not a free software, and I would like to make sure my users can still use it.  Users can install Adobe Acrobat Reader for free, but this barcoded form does not work in Reader.  I was wondering if you know how to make a barcoded fillable form that can be filled using Reader, and the barcode is also updated dynamically.

Hi,

 

In Acrobat DC do you not have to save with rights for Adobe Rights:

 

File->Save As Other->Reader Extended PDF -> Enable More Tools

This does not enable barcode fields to be updated in Reader.
