How to create an Auto Date that won't show till the form is TYPED IN.

Question

I need to know how to create and Auto Date in a fillable PDF form that won't place the date in the form until someone starts to type in the form.

I don't want the Auto Date when the form is opened. Only when someone starts to type in it for the first time.

There are a number of ways this could be done. How many fields are there, and what should happen if a user types something and then removes it? Are there any check boxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, or other non-text fields? If so, what should happen if the user changes one of their values?
