How to delete my old acrobat reader?

Hey. I recently bought a new adobe account, but i have a problem with my old account. I got adobe reader on my laptop for the past year and the app can not close, because i have to sign in. I dont use the account anymore, so i can not sign in. My macbook can not do updates anymore, because the adobe reader is open the whole time en wont close unless i sign in. Can someone tell me what i have to do? sign in with my new account is not working.

You do not need to change the Adobe ID, when you by a software subscription. But anyhow, Reader shoul work with any account. Best is probably to kill the reader, uninstall it (and any othe Acrobat on your machine), run AcroCleaner (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html), download Acrobat again and reinstall.

I have the feeling, that you are not very good at such things, so maybe asking a friend for help here could be advisable.
