Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you are you referring to an incorrect email id to which you have sent a document for signature? If yes, please refer to the steps given here: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/replace-signer.html
Let us know if this is what you were willing to do.

Thanks.

How do I get in touch with Adobe to be able to use the software that I pay for every year? For about a month, when I attempt to read a pdf, I get a pop up, having never received an activation code. My Photoshop works fine, just Adobe Reader which should work. I cannot even download my bill from my may renewal, as Adobe reader blocks me… how about an email for some help? Nowhere to be found on your site.

Another question, why is my “name” Whispering_Harmonye376? Definitely not something I set up...

 Hi Whispering_Harmonye376,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

We have checked your account using the email address linked to your community profile. You have a subscription to Photoshop. Acrobat Reader is a free version.

Please ensure that you have installed the Acrobat Reader, not Acrobat. You may try reinstalling the application using the steps suggested below:

The profile name is auto-assigned when you register the account and remains if you do not change it later in the process. If you wish to change the profile name, please use the following steps:

  • Close and sign out of all active sessions for Adobe services, including the community page, in the browser.

  • Open incognito/private mode of the browser.

  • Log in to the community using your email ID, select the School option while signing in.

  • Open any product page, like Acrobat. Make sure you are logged in; you can check this by checking the profile icon in the top-right corner.

  • In the same incognito mode, open another tab and log in to the https://adobe.ly/4yxiQTc account profile section.

  • Check the profile and screen name, and update them.

  • Use your first and last names in both Profile name and Adobe Screen Name as highlighted in previous screenshots.

Let us know if you need any help or have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi realistic_Echo965e,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned, you do not have the option to correct the email address for the document sent for signature. Could you please share the screenshot of the window where you check for the option?

Thanks,

Meenakshi

How do I correct the email after the e sign has been emailed?

Hi @suzie_9928,

In Adobe Acrobat Sign, if you’ve sent an agreement to the wrong email address, you can correct the email only if the recipient hasn’t signed yet.

Steps to Correct an Email in Acrobat Sign (Before It’s Signed):

  1. Log in to Adobe Acrobat Sign.

  2. Go to Manage.

  3. Find the agreement under In Progress.

  4. Click on the agreement, then select “Correct” from the options on the right.

  5. Update the email address or other details.

  6. Save and confirm the changes — the corrected agreement will be sent to the new email address.

Important Notes:

  • You can only correct before the recipient has signed.

  • If the agreement has already been signed by that recipient, you cannot change the email, and you’ll need to cancel and resend the agreement.
