How to fix Acrobat 5.0.5 not opening error on Windows 10x64

Dear Adobe Support Community,

 

I faced the Software not opening error on Windows 10x64. Acrobat version 5.0.5 was not open after completing the installation process.

 

Please let me know the reason for not opening Acrobat version 5.0.5 or any permanent solution to open Acrobat version 5.0.5.

 

Note: I did Acrobat Version. 5.0.5 was reinstalled.

    This is not surprising. Acrobat 5 is an ancient version, not compatible with any current OS.

    Why are you using such outdated software? There are also substantial security risks involved in doing so.

    Dear Adobe Support Community,

    The Compare Documents process is very simple to use in Acrobat 5.0.5.

    Acrobat 5.0.5 displays the compared pdfs on a single page with splits as well.

    Note:
    1. We have Acrobat 10 Pro but have more difficulty comparing the PDFs.
    2. If possible, please let me know how to access Acrobat 10 Pro, like Acrobat 5.0.5.
