how to fix Exception Processing Message 0xc000007b

I am using Acrobat on Windows 10.  It was working fine.  Today I cannot access any of my PDF's.  I get an Exception Processing Message 0xc000007b Unexpected parameters.  When I click on o.k., the document deletes itself and I get "Acrobat quit unexpectedly."  Two days ago I installed an HP Driver Update Software Component 1.63.3600.0.  Could this be the problem?  What to do?
