How to generate a list (TXT, CSV etc) from a PDF file with specific text parts?

Dear friends, good morning.

This is my first question here, so, I´m sorry if I´m doing something wrong.

I have 1000's PDF files, each one with a big list of equipment TAGS. Example:

File001.pdf

     AS-283746

     AS-394838

     AS-327485

File002.pdf

     AS-475832

     AS-595939

     AS-458896

I have Acrobat Pro 9 installed and I wonder if it is possible to generate a list (TXT, CSV, XLS...).... something like:

File001.pdf, AS-283746

File001.pdf, AS-394838

File001.pdf, AS-327485

File002.pdf, AS-475832

File002.pdf, AS-595939

File002.pdf, AS-458896

That would be a great help!

Thank you all since now!

Hi Tamer,

What do you mean by "tags", exactly? This means something very specific in PDF files, and I'm not sure it's what you're referring to...

Hello "Try67"!

TAGs are indetifiers. In an specific site, we have several equipment. Each equipment has a TAG to identify itself. It is just a combination of coherent numbers and letters.

Example:

Air Conditioning Unit:  AC-0506928

Compressor Unit: CO-734684

Power Generator Unit: PG-738495

...

Thanks for help!

Without seeing the actual file it's almost impossible to say if this is going to be possible or not.
