how to globally disable internet access from pdf files outside the web browser (hyperlinks) for my entire organization, for security reasons.  We've recently been informed of a threat which uses Adobe Acrobat files, to click a hyperlink within the file, sending them to a website which looks like Microsoft and asks for username and password, which harvests their creds (Phishing)

In an attempt to mitigate, I can use Group policy to enforce the use of Adobe Acrobat to open PDF files, but I would also like to use Group policy to modify the setting in Trust Manager in Adobe Acrobat Reader to 'Block PDF Files' access to all web sites' by default for our people who already have Adobe Acrobat installed.

Thank you,

Eric Walker

Take a look at the Acrobat Enterprise Toolkit, it has information about how to control certain features using registry keys (or properties on macOS): https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AppSec/enhanced.html#ui-and-registry-config
