How to install Reader and Acrobat on the same machine

I have an older version of Acrobat Pro which I need to keep because I use Livecycle Designer occasionally. When I try to install the current version of Reader, it wants to uninstall the previous version. How can this check be bypassed? I'm guessing to use an answer file or Registry hack.

Consider installing Foxit Reader.

The 64-bit application is a unified application for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. If you have installed Acrobat Reader 64-bit and you purchase an Acrobat subscription, the Acrobat Reader 64-bit application will upgrade to become a fully functional Acrobat 64-bit application.
