How to keep changes in commenting tools properties between PDFs?

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC. My problem occurs when I change the properties of a tool, for instance I change the underscore text tool to be red instead of green. I do it in the "underline text tool properties" bar. Unfortunately, the next time I open a PDF to work on, I have to set properties again. I've noticed this issue with other properties too, like the "keep tool selected" box. I want to set my tools so they are always the same for every PDF I work on and so I don't have to waste time setting them again.
