Hello,

I have an Arabic Word document to print. When I convert it to: Print as Adobe Pdf, the Hindi pages numbering change automatically to Arabic numerals while all the text stays correct. How to fix this problem and keep Hindi numbering in the Pdf?

Thank you

What method or conversion are you using? eg. print, or save as?

I do prefer that you use the "Acrobat" and convert to PDF by using the Adobe PDFMaker. Later in Acrobat Pro, change the digits as desired here…

The problem is that I have in my document both hindi and Arabic digits. If I convert to hindi, all the numbers in the whole document will be hindi. I put context but it doesn't work at all. I think the hindi digits should be included in Format Page Numbers.

thank you

You have done Print as Adobe PDF, can you convert to PDF using PDFMaker? In MS. Word, go to "Acrobat" menu and choose "Create PDF" from the Acrobat bar, this will give you more reliable PDF.

If you don't have Acrobat menu in your Word application, then you don't have Acrobat Pro or Standard installed in your machine, and you'll have to convert to PDF using Microsoft's built-in method.

Another suggestion, is to change the font for page numbering to another Arabic font, that perhaps will make a difference.
