Question

How to keep the combine files dialog from opening when using a KVM switch?

I am using a computer running Windows 7 professional. I have Adobe Acrobat Standard DC installed. I am also using a KVM switch to switch to another computer. The KVM switch I am using is the  2-Port DisplayPort Dual-Monitor KVM Switch model SV231DPDDUA2 from Startech.com. When I combine multiple files into a .pdf and I switch to the second computer and back the combine files dialog is opened and I have to close it each time. Is there a way to prevent this? It does not happen if I save the combined file as say, "Binder 1", close Acrobat, then open the file "Binder 1". Also, the keys I am pressing to switch computers are RIGHT CTRL, RIGHT CTRL, 1 or 2, if that helps (1 for PC 1 and 2 for PC 2).
