How to make sure recipients cannot copy content of my PDFs?

Hi, I need to encrypt a PDF. Which version should I buy - standard or pro?

Also, let's say I have a X pro version, will I be able to create a Word format document from any encrypted/locked PDF?

and/or will I be able to copy content of any PDF and paste it to a new Word format document?

Thanks a lot

Greg

Correct answer Test Screen Name

These are not even hacker apps but common tools like Chrome. I would give up on this Aim if I were you.

- Either version can do it.

- You can only export an encrypted PDF to another format if the security policy allows Content Copying.

Either that, or you need to know the password and remove the security policy entirely.

- Idem for copying content directly from the file.

Many thanks.

So in other words, if I send an encrypted PDF together with the password to my client. Does my client having the Pro version will be able to remove the security policy entirely in order to either export or copy the content of my PDF?

Yes. But what's the point of applying a security policy and then sending the password to remove it to the recipient?
