How to permanently prevent MS Office addins from being installed?

I have no use for the various MS Office addins that are automatically installed so I'm trying to prevent them.

I know how to disable and remove them, but they keep coming back with each application update!

 

Does anyone know of any good registry hacks to prevent this from happening?

Acrobat primarily.

There's an Outlook and Word addin for it, for example, that continue to be reinstalled and cause boot-up issues for those applications. So I remove them. Then they come back when I update Creative Cloud / Acrobat.
