How to reduce size of PDF Files

Is there a way to reduce the size of PDF files without loosing too much quality. I'm sending PDF Files with 15-20 pages of documents with text only.

There are ways but do not expect large reductions is PDF size.

In Acrobat Standard there is the "File => Save as Other => Reduced Size PDF...". The options used by this option are set in Acrobat's "Preferences".

In Acrobat Professional there are "Optimize PDF' and "Pre Flight" that allow for specifying specific objects to optimize various objects within the PDF, compression methods for various objects, embed or remove embedded text, etc. and create a report detailing the contributing percentage various general object categories are contributing. How much each adjustment will affect the quality of the PDF will have to be seen after applying the changes.
