Question

How to replace the same text on each page (it is not a header / footer)?

I have to replace some text from a pdf file.
Unfortunately, the text is at the same position on each page of about 1500 pages.
The manual work is:
- select text or select textbox ("making a frame with the mouse over the textbox / the textboxes")
- delete the text inside
- updating the text, by copying and pasting

- next page.....

Is it possible to "search and replace" the whole pdf file?

No. What can be done, though, is to redact the old text and then place the new one on top of it using a text field, for example. Then you flatten the pages to convert the values of the text fields to static contents.

Since the text always appears at the same spot you can do it manually, using the Duplicate Field Across Pages command, or using a script.
