How to Save a PDF in Adobe Acrobat with Compressed File Size?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project where I regularly share PDF menus, and I want to make sure the files are easy to download without losing quality. Is there a way to save a PDF directly in Adobe Acrobat with the smallest possible size, rather than compressing it afterward?

for example I wrote an article on [LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR] and the file size is big as it contains images and tables, how can I make or save it in smallest size without comprosing on quality of media.

Tables are not likely to take any more space than regular text. Images and fonts usually account for the vast majority of a PDF's file-size. If you could share a sample file we might be able to give more exact advice, but generally speaking removing unnecessary fonts and reducing the size (or removing entirely) images should make the most difference.

Reducing the weight of a PDF is always a compromise on its quality.

Hi britain_3690,

Thank you for reaching out.

It is not possible to save the file to PDF with a smaller size. You may refer to the steps used to create the PDF from another file format in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4iqjAkM. You can later use the feature in Acrobat to reduce the file size. For more information, refer to the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4bqPpaG

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
