How to secure custom stamps?

Does the Stamp tool provide a way to secure a custom stamp? I can see that the stamp can be deleted or changed by the recipient of the document. I also learned that it is not possible to place restrictions for one page of a multi-page document. Is it possible to secure a single stamp in such a document? Thank you.

So you want to actually prevent the stamp from being applied to some pages of the file? That's not possible.

The only thing you can do about it is delete those stamps when the file is saved, but you can't prevent them from being applied.

Secured from using? The only way I can think of doing that is to add a layer (or field) to the stamp that hides its contents and prompt the user to enter a password when they apply it. If the password is correct you hide that layer, making the stamp usable.

You can't apply a regular File Open security policy to the stamp file itself, though. It will stop working entirely.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll see what can be done. Except for my few entries, most of the multi-page PDF needs to remain easily editable by recipients.
