how to see a clean copy

How can a see a clean copy of a pdf in Adobe -- that is, the sort of view that some software calls simple markup, so I can see exactly what the final version will look like without the tracking, etc.? -- but without removing the tracking info from the file?

There's no "tracking info" in PDF files. If you do mean the comments then open the Comment panel, click the Filter Comments button in the Comments List section and select Hide All Comments.
