Question

How to stop Adobe from automatically opening Print after saving?

I receive PDF files in my Gmail account, which I access using Internet Explorer.  I open the PDF in the browser and press the Download button.  As expected, the Save window opens and I save it to my computer.  The problem is that the Print windows opens automatically after the save.  Since I don't need to print, I close the window.  It is not a critical problem but it is annoying.

How can I prevent the Print window from opening automatically after I download/save a file from my browser?

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your replies!

I am having trouble getting to the user's computer because they are out of office so often.  As soon as I get my hands on the computer, I will check to see if IE is invoking Adobe for PDF or some other viewer.

Are you sure you that when you “open the PDF in the browser” you are in fact doing so with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat as opposed to perhaps a PDF display provided by Google for Gmail? Your description of the event ordering doesn't match what you would expect from any Adobe software.
