How to stop automatic downloading of a PDF when i open it

Hello,

it wasnt like this, but for some time now, when i open a pdf file (P.e from a bank transaction) it opens in acrobat reader and Downloads it self.

When i click to an "open PDF" link somewhere , it not only opens,but it download it self, so at the end of the day, i must open every pdf file, check if i want to keep it and delete everything i dont need...

In simple words, i want to open the pdf links,see them,and choose if i want to download them by myself...

i googled it but i didnt find any solution for this,

any help would be appereciated

Adobe Acrobat Reader helps you to view, print, sign, share, and annotate PDFs. It does not download the PDF automatically when opening the Acrobat Reader application. For more information on Reader, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/faq.html

Please check the browser settings for opening a PDF. You might have selected to save/ download the PDF in the settings.
