How to transfer my Adobe Acrobat to a new computer

I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Student and Teacher Edition license. Now I'm going to change to a new computer and my question is how do I transfer my software from the old computer. Should I un-install it from the old computer and then install to the new one?

first, secure your xi serial number.

only after that, open xi > click help > deactivate.

then uninstall.

then install on your new computer and activate using your serial number.

Thanks for the instruction. Just checking what you mean with "xi". Is it the Adobe software?
