How to turn off "comments" that show changes made to PDF?

Hello,

I've been working on a PDF (adding text boxes and signature) and now all those additions are listed in the comments pane. How can I get rid of/hide these so that the person I send the PDF to can't see or check them? When I delete the comment itself, the change it refers to is also deleted.

    The purpose of comments is to comment, not change the actual text, images, etc. of the pdf.  Add comments for review and soliciting feedback from recipients.  (You want them to see these.)

    Edit the pdf to change, delete, or add text and images.  If required or allowed, format the affected text so it stands out (underlining, bolding, change color/font/size, etc.).  Editing changes do not create comments.

    A more elegant solution is to use the source application that created the pdf (e.g., Word), and then convert.

    The thing is, the comments box isn't a separate thing. Every comment you add is, well, a comment. The signature box - a comment. The text box - a comment. And so on. So there's nothing to turn off...
