How to turn off the Edit Image pop-up menu?

I have search the discussion board, but can't find an answer to this question:

When editing a PDF and you click on an image to resize it, you get a pop-up menu with options Replace Image, Choose Image, etc.  The problem is, the pop-up menu covers the anchors I need to click on to drag the image to the proper size.

If I click out of Acrobat and back in, the image is still selected and I can see the anchors I want to drag, but this is slowing down productivity.

Can anyone tell me how to disable the edit graphic pop-up menu?  (Not all menus, just these pop-up that get in the way of what you are trying to do.)

Thanks in advance, Jack

Hi, i'm not certain if you are referring to this popover that appears when you select an element on the stage in acrobat:

If so, the way to deactivate this is under:

Preferences > General > Show quick actions on text selection

Uncheck this checkbox and that will turn this popover off.

Was this ever addressed?

This is really frustrating. I finally got the AI turned off, but now adjusting even the size of a photo has become difficult with this program.
