How to turn off the text edit popup

I am soo over this particular popup shown in the screenshot. Every time I go to edit some text in acrobat it hovers exactly over what I am trying to edit. Most annoying feature Adobe has ever come up with. I’ve gone through the preferences and tried a few things, but cannot get it to go away. Please PLEASE tell me there is a way to turn the pesky thing off!
