How to ungroup multiple pencil marks Acrobat Pro DC?

I have made over 20 unique pencil marks on a document. I need to remove one but when I try to do so, all  are grouped together as one comment. It's so much work to delete all and start again to eliminate the one I don't need. I tried righ-clicking and going to properties but there is no "ungroup" option. So frustrating that Adobe groups them togehter automatically. Does anyone know how to overcome this issue?

How are you trying to remove it?

I'm using the arrow tool to select the pencil mark but instead of selecting just one of the marks it selects the entire grouping of all that are on the lower half of the page. You can test this out by making a few pencil marks near each other and then trying to select them with the arrow tool.

I see what you mean... As long as the tool is selected all the drawings you make with it are inserted into a single comment.

To avoid it you need to switch to a different tool (or press Esc) and then re-select it, and a new comment will start.

It might be possible to "ungroup" the ones you already created, but it will require a script, I don't think there's a built-in command that does that.

I might create this script a bit later on, if I have time.
