Html not converting to pdf in Acrobat

I have a very "simple" html file, simple in the sense that its plain legal HTML5 with only a couple of styles

inside it and is written by computer in html. It has always worked perfectly in all browsers for 15 years.

It gets updated every few months. I've never tried converting before. This is one page. No Javascript.

No external files at all.  It isn't a full web page .. no header etc.

Its about 154 kilobytes. The problem must be the size. The maximum html pixel dimensions are

950 high and 16600 wide. No matter how I try Acrobat won't convert the whole thing.  It gets about the left 2/3.

A smaller test file that's only 15500 pixels wide works.

I have a larger one tha's 225 kilobytes but is 36000 pixels wide. I would have expected this one to fail without reacaling, but not the other one.

Hi dtvmcdonald,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please ensure that you are using the correct workflow as suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3RcVpuw

If the issue occurs with a particular HTML file, please share the file link. Also, if you can share the screen recording showing what happens when you convert the file, it will help us replicate the issue and investigate it further.

Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Here are screen shots, one of the whole and one at the cut off right edge. What's there is correct. This is Windows 10 on a big PC and Acrobat CC. I can't find the version.  I attach the first part of the  disk file. This is the "Enterprise version" I get as a facultry of the University of Illinois. The whole think is absolutely gigantic. Photoshop works fine on truly gigantic files (>150 megapixel) in multiple layers, albeit like a snail (it refuses to use my GPU).

I tried different settings, including default font size. I think the photos are at 8. It won't let me use 7.  I tried using the scale to fit width and that did't do anything.

There is also a similar file that is 36000 pixels wide. The boxes that go to 26000 or wso on this just go to 36000. It looks OK when rescaled down a bit in browsers ... or even on Acrobat's display of the part that works.

I'll try attaching the html file ... I can't give a URL ... that's the problem! Neither web page site I'm currenly using will allow me to upload html files. The previous site did. I'm trying to convert the file on my computer. The web site on my computer, locally, works fine with this file as html in what I think is called an iframe. I managed to attach the html file here after renaming it to .txt, which of course html is! I don;t know if its ASCII or Unicode ... there are no unicode characters that I installed. Its nicely human readable, that's just what my VBA code for Excel generates. I should add that the data on the chart is public, with full permission of the people involved.
