I am using Acrobat Pro, the other computer has same version just not pro.  It does work on a flash drive on my PC but not on other. Can not find any help in this regards. I have a bunch of pdf files, which i am trying to link to one specific pdf file as you will see on image below. Everytime person clicks a red box a new file is open. it does work on my laptop only. the moment i transfer all files to a different laptop it is not working.  And yest i am transfering all folders and subfolders.  I am using usb stick. once usb stick goes to a different laptop thats it.

I am crating links as add link, and from drop down menu in Action panel choosing to open a file, it allows me to choose where the file is located. As i mentioned above i created specific folder for this task to keep all files in one place.  Working only with pdf files nothing more. Would really appreciate help

Hi, Hyperlinks in Acrobat do not work like a web link. A relative link will look for the file named in the same folder or the previous folder using a \ in the url. An absolute link will conect to a file in a specific location C:\folder\folder\folder. The links break if you move the files around as the 'address' for the link is different.

Please consider using portfolios, more at https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/create-customize-pdf-portfolios.html#:~:text=Create%20PDF%20Portfolios&text=Start%20Acrobat%20and%20choose%20File,or%20items%20in%20the%20clipboard.
