I am building a multiple page form.. it takes up to 30 minutes to save or not at all

I am building a multi page form. (50 pages) each page is mostly cut and paste the same info each page. when saving, some times it takes 10 minutes to save and sometimes it never saves

This is just a guess, but I would save the file as a PDF/X-1a, to see if that cleans things up, if that doesn't help, I would save it as an optimized PDF, removing unnecessary overhead.
