Question

I am looking for an action to select all text in a PDF file and change the font colour to black

Can anyone help me?

I need an action to select all text in a PDF file (across all pages) and change the font colour to black, then save the file.

Is there such an action already available and if so how do I install it?

Many thanks

Hi

Cmd+A when you have the Edit tool will select everything in the frame. All of the contents of the page may be in one frame, or it may be in several frames as below. Do you have the source document? It would be easier there.

Use Ctrl+A if you are on Windows.

Hi There,

Thank you for reaching out. As described above, you want to select all the text in a PDF across all the pages and want to change the font color, correct?

We can not select all the text in a PDF and change the font color. However, we can change the font color of the text page by page, using Adobe Acrobat DC,  Edit tool.

You may also refer to the help article  - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/edit-text-pdfs.html

Alternatively, you may export the PDF to Word  and change the font color of the document and convert it back to a PDF.

Let us know if that works for you

Regards,

Amal
