I am not able to print any A3 pdf from the Acrobat app

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble here.

Have you started experiencing this issue recently after an update, or was it occurring earlier as well? What is the version of the Acrobat application you are using? Go to Help > About Acrobat and try updating the appliction to the latest version  26.002.21869 Planned update, Aug 31, 2026 go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

A couple of things would help confirm the fix: what printer model are you using, and are you on Windows or Mac? Also, in Acrobat's print dialog, what is the "Page Sizing & Handling" option currently set to (Fit, Actual size, Shrink oversized pages, etc.)?

The fact that Chrome prints A3 correctly but Acrobat doesn't points to Acrobat's print settings, or how it's talking to the printer driver, rather than the printer itself, it's usually one of these:

• In Acrobat's print dialog, "Choose paper source by PDF page size" needs to be checked, so Acrobat tells the printer which tray/size to use based on the document itself, rather than falling back to the driver's default

• "Page Sizing & Handling" being set to "Fit" or "Shrink oversized pages" will scale the page down to whatever paper size the printer driver currently has selected, which is likely A4. Try setting it to "Actual size" instead

• Separately from Acrobat's own page size selector, click the "Properties" (or "Preferences") button inside the print dialog to open the printer driver's own settings, and confirm A3 is selected there too, since Acrobat's page size choice doesn't always carry over to the driver automatically

Worth trying in this order: set Page Sizing & Handling to Actual size, check the paper source by the PDF page size box, then also confirm A3 in the driver's own Properties dialog before printing. Also check the help page https://adobe.ly/3SuYOsW
