I am trying to creat a PDF from the scanner.

I click 'FILE;CREATE;PDF FROM SCANNER' the application opens up and when I click scan it only scans in 8.5 x 14.  The section to change paper size is greyed out so I can not change it.

If you expand the 'PDF from Scanner' menu, there should be an item: Configure Presets. Or look for words similar.

I'm working from an older version, but functions like this they'd probably leave alone.

There are many options in there, including one to change the size of the page.
