I am working with Adobe XI and I am trying to create a text box that is a multi line so the customer can add as much information in the text box.  I can not get the multi line work.  Please help me.

Open the "Prepare Form" tool.

Add a text field.

Size the field to large enough to display more than one line.

Click on the "All Properties" link.

Click the "Options" tab.

Select and check the "Multi line" option.

Make other changes as needed.

Click the "OK" button.

Note: when the field has more text than can be displayed, a scroll bar will appear on the right side of the text field. The text not displayed will not print. One can set the font size to "Auto" and the text will resize to fit the box down to 6 points.

HAVING  SAME ISSUES!!
This is crazy.  Re-doing my form again. First time around the signature box would not work... now that works, but the multiple line option will not work.  Acrobat!  - Not cool.

What happens when you use this option?

Having the same problem.  I have text fields set to multi-line, yet the text will stop at the right side and won't wrap to a second line. And yes, the box is big enough for 1 more lines.  Hoping to find a fix.

How did you create this "text box", exactly? What tool did you use?
