I am unable to see content in form unless I click in the field. I am not using a MAC!

This issue is most caused by someone accessing the form using Mac's Preview application and saving the form and then anyone else opening the saved form.

There are many ways to fix this. The very best is to get a copy of the form that has not been corrupted. Then one opens the damaged PDF in Acrobat, opening the 'Forms Tool" or 'Prepare form" to edit the form. One now has access to the option to "Import" or "Export" form data under the "More" option. Export the form data to an FDF file. Now close the bad copy. Open the good copy and use the form editing process to import the FDF file that was exported.

Another option is to use a script to edit any property of the form fields in the bad copy and then saving the form. See The practicalPDF Fix Form Utility for such a tool.
