I can't get acrobat reader to open on my Mac. I have been speaking with Apple and they have exhausted their assistance in getting the issue resolved. They even had an engineer addressing the issue. They have confirmed to me that it isn't an Apple pro

I can't get acrobat reader to open on my Mac. I have been speaking with Apple and they have exhausted their assistance in getting the issue resolved. They even had an engineer addressing the issue. They have confirmed to me that it isn't an Apple problem and that since it was a 3rd party product I need to contact Adobe. I am running High Sierra ver 10.13.6. Acrobat just stopped opening for me. I have deleted and reloaded the program several times. It is only affecting me as the user. I can open my wife's user profile on the same Mac and Acrobat reader opens and works. I really would like to here if any one else has had this issue and how they resolved it.
