Question

I can't get the Adobe PDF converter to stay on port

I have a problem with the Adobe PDF Converter. This is with Acrobat DC on Windows 10 x64. It is supposed to be assigned to either Desktop\*.pdf or Documents\*.pdf ports, but it insists on reassigning itself to a port called IP_NEW_IP, which is a local TCP IP port. If I remove this port, Acrobat recreates it and reassigns the converter automatically to it on reboot. How can I get the proper assignment to stick? I should point out and removing and recreating the converter has the same behavior.

Hello Mauricev,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, I can understand that Adobe PDF Converter is reassigning a port "IP_NEW_IP" to itself, Is that correct?

What is the dot version of Adobe Acrobat DC installed? To identify, refer to the Adobe article Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Try installing the PDF Printer manually after removing the current PDF Printer and see if this brings any difference. To install the PDFPrinter manually, please refer to the Adobe article Adobe PDF printer is missing | Manually install PDF printer

You can also refer to the following Adobe article and try the suggestions Using the Adobe PDF printer, Acrobat

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

That understanding is correct.  The version of Acrobat is 2015.006.30279.

Please reread the last line of my original query.
