I can't install Adobe on my laptop the : An error occured while creating the folder C:\ Program Files (x86) Adobe\Acrobat\DC any one can tell me how to solve this problem?

While I was filling out the reply below, I also saw you had an older version of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Adobe has shut down the activation servers for any version previous to 2024, so you likely won’t be able to reinstall your older version of Acrobat Pro on your system.

The free Adobe Reader is available through this link. As for Acrobat Pro, there’s either the Document Cloud/Creative Cloud subscription options or buying the three-year license for the current versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro.

How are you trying to install Adobe? Which Adobe application? Which version? And where are you getting the installation from? Also, which version of Windows are you trying to install it on?

Hi Randy, thanks for your help.Adobe Acrobat Pro DC with the file Setup Adobe exe. It seems that I'm no longer the adminstrator. I can't remove the old version. I have no rights to remove this old version of Acrobat Pro. Only on Adobe.

Have you tried this?

Navigate you way to the Acrobat.exe file in your Windows file system

Place your cursor on Acrobat.exe. Click the right mouse button.

This opens the contextual menu. Click on the Run as Administrator contextual menu command.

This may help you get it installed. Please give it a try.
